Ray Raisedana is a family and children portrait photographer in San Rafael, San Francisco and the Bay Area. His approach to a portrait session is to tell a story that will live with the family for many years. His years of experience photographing people of many different age groups enables him to create beautiful family portraits. Putting people at ease who are not comfortable in front of the camera is his speciality. Once everyone relaxes the magic happens and a beautiful moment is captured. A great family portrait!

I offer many types of family portraits:

The most popular is the classic family portrait consisting of parents, children and often a family pet.

Generational family portraits with grandparents and extended family members are important because they preserve moments that may not come again. These portraits not only capture generations together but they become a family heirloom. Years later children and grandchildren treasure having a photograph of a relative they knew or barely got to know.

Lifestyle family portraits and candid portraits are also valuable especially when children are young.

All of these family portraits can be done indoors with or without a backdrop, outdoors in a public park or in your backyard home garden.
